As the Joint CEO at the Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, Pranay has been leading the IIM Ahmedabad’s incubator to become the foremost organisation in early stage incubation in India. He has been instrumental in setting up and scaling various programs at CIIE, including iAccelerator and MentorEdge. During his tenure, CIIE has incubated more than 20 startups and has raised funds to the tune of $2mn.

He is a board member of CIIE Initiatives, the investment arm of CIIE and is board observer to more than 10 startups, where he helps them with setting up internal processes, deciding their business startegy, networking, and reaching out to the right kind of people. Apart from helping startups, Pranay enjoys creating opportunities for students to get involved in entrepreneurship – be it through the various courses and projects that CIIE provides to IIM students, or through internships for others.

Previously, he has worked with Lehman Brothers and Nomura, leading Investment Banks and helped them set up their India equity practice. He has also worked on shorter stints with promoters in a variety of fields including data analysis, luxury adventure tourism and educational magazine.

He is passionate about building organisations from ground up, and is currently getting his highs through his work with startups and by building CIIE & CIIE Initiatives.

Tanvi leads iAccelerator program among other ICT initiatives at CIIE. She was instrumental in refining the vision of the program and selecting most promising Indian startups for its 2011 edition. Since the start of the program, it has been her mission to understand founding team’s vision for their product, help them in innovating business models around it, building network of mentors and help in securing next round of funding for iAccelerator startups. She is also leading seed funding activities at CIIE by sourcing, evaluating and investing in ICT startups.

Before joining CIIE, Tanvi was Associate Vice President at GVFL Ltd where she managed fund’s investment in Internet, Mobile, Enterprise Software, Communication and Digital Media. She spent six years at Cisco in San Jose as a Software Engineer, designing and developing modules in Security and QoS.

Tanvi holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. She has a MS degree in Computer Science from University of Southern California and BE in Computer Engineering from LD College of Engineering.

Maneesh is a Technologist turned Entrepreneur turned Angel Investor. As a founder of SENA Systems, he built one of the most recognized Identity Management (IT) firms globally and recently sold the company to a publicly listed firm.

Maneesh has over 20 years of industry experience having started his career with Citigroup in the field of IT with deeper focus on Information Security, Risk Management and Identity Management. He has made angel investments in the areas of Animation, Analytics, Student Career Services, Mobile Applications, Software Product, etc. and has also opened a Rural BPO center as a for-profit social enterprise. He actively mentors the portfolio companies especially in the areas of business strategy and business development.

An engineering graduate from IIT-Kharagpur and MBA from Stern School of Business, New York University, he has tremendous passion to identify innovative ideas and mentor passionate teams in the fields of ICT (Information & Communication Technologies) and Social Enterprises.

Anuj Pulstya is an entrepreneur with a varied degree of experience in Technology and Business. An engineering graduate, he also holds a Master’s in Computer Science from University of Southern California and an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University.

He hails from a business family and over his career span has held various technical and business roles with companies such as CSC, Geometric Software Solutions, Amazon. His first entrepreneurial venture was a fashion and media startup in Los Angeles where he increased the business multifold. He then returned to India and offered consulting to various SMEs helping with their business processes, formulating as well as executing strategies to launch new products and enter new markets.

Currently, he is working as the COO of a Real Estate Solutions Company based out of Delhi. A deep thinker, he is passionate about brain storming ideas and spends several hours every week critiquing new business models and mentoring entrepreneurs in his network. He specializes in strategic planning, business development and trouble shooting.

Vijay is a ‘parallel entrepreneur’ and has co-founded Eduvisors, India’s largest education sector focused business consulting and research services company; Setu Ventures, a firm that provides professional and financial assistance to early stage companies and entrepreneurs and ValueFirst, India’s leading enterprise mobile data services company.

Vijay has over 16 years of industry experience and he earlier worked with Steel Authority of India, E&Y and Glaxo SmithKline and he specializes in the areas of strategy, business development, consulting and engineering. Vijay’s passions lie in the areas of value creation, technology, entrepreneurship and education.

An engineering graduate from IT-BHU and MBA from XLRI, he has mastered the ‘art’ of evaluating business strategies and organizational processes through his career with working in the domains of public sector, entrepreneurship, information and mobile technology, FMCG and management consulting services.
